Detailed Information |
|
David was born as
Patrick David Lashmar in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on May 22, 1970.
While attending Sherwood Secondary High School, David was a music
teacher at The College of Contemporary Music. He also played in several
local bar bands. By the mid 80’s, David (already an accomplished
composer and keyboardist) taught himself to sing and play guitar. He
formed the successful pop-goth band, Vampire Sex Chain in the late 80’s.
In the 90’s David would form the alternative-rock band Syringe, as well
as produce recordings for his personal side-project, Choke On Candy. In
early 2000, David produced several albums with hip-hop artists, Nikki T,
Devious01, Strike, Styles, FoulMouth, and Clevah. The mid 2000’s saw
David win several awards for his glamour photography. By 2010 David had
mostly retired from photography and music to focus on his career as the
Vice President of a publishing corporation. Although retired from music,
David, from time-to-time, releases new music under the name “Zeptae”. |
